Next week (Monday September 24th – Friday September 28th) will be ITBS testing for 3rd Grade. The children will take tests on Language Arts, Science, Math and  Social Studies. We will test from 8:00am to 10:30am every morning. These tests are an excellent ‘checkpoint’ to see what our students know and what skills and topics we need to work on.

What can I do to help?

1) Sign up with our Room Mom to send in a clas snack for one day.

2) Make sure your child is early to bed to get lots of good sleep.

3) Healthy breakfast for your child will boost energy levels and aid concentration.

4) Stress the importance of your child ‘trying their best’ on the test.

5) Make sure they are not too worried or stressed about the tests.

Our first ‘Early Release Day’ of the year will be on Wednesday September 19th 2007.

Children will be dismissed at 11:15am

You will recieve a green letter explaining the situation with a form to fill out and return.

Please return the form by Friday September 14th.
